[ In short ]
In short
The starting point
Two websites that looked nothing alike, a buggy WordPress site, and visitors lost in hundreds of pieces of content.
My answer
One website where the homepage shows everything, a page for every service and every product, and more than 1,000 pieces of content migrated with nothing lost.
The result
A website that reflects who she is, and that her team manages easily. First measurements: a homepage nearly 4 times lighter.
Has your website grown in layers too?

Mériane Labrie, better known as Madame Labriski.
Since 2012, she has been teaching Quebec to sweeten with dates: cookbooks, talks, a podcast, and a line of pantry products with no added refined sugar. Her website had to carry that whole world without getting lost in it.
- The start of the movement
- 2012
- Books sold in Quebec

- Talks given
- 300+
- Free recipes

What changed
for its visitors.
The old WordPress website and its Shopify store, side by side with the new website. Drag to compare.

Home. The old homepage opened on a promotional pop-up. The new one shows her whole world from the first screen: recipes, store, podcast and talks.

Store. The store lived on a separate Shopify site, with its own design. It’s now part of the same website: same colors, same menu, all the way to the cart.

Recipe. The same recipe, the Pain Banane et Banana: the recipe card shows prep, servings, cooking and difficulty at a glance, and downloads as a PDF.

Phone. On mobile, search, the cart and the menu stay at the top of every page, and the main message fits on the first screen.
[ The project ]
Three decisions
that changed everything.
Before our first call, she had already seen her future homepage as a mockup. We then rethought everything around three decisions.
A homepage that shows everything
The homepage becomes a front door: it shows everything she does at a glance, and every service and every product has its own page. Scroll inside the window to see the whole page.

A store inside the same website
No more jumping to another website to buy: products, books and gift sets live in the same design, with the same menu, from the first screen to the cart.

More than 1,000 pieces of content moved, nothing lost
Recipes, articles, podcasts, videos and products: I connected the new website to the old WordPress site to transfer everything, without losing a single piece of data. Her team now manages it all themselves.
Old WordPress website- 475 recipes
- 196 articles
- 118 videos
- 172 pages
- + a separate Shopify store
New Framer websiteOne website, more than 600 pages, all the content in one place.
0 data lostInventory of the old website taken on September 18, 2026.

[ The results ]
Lighter,
faster.
A website that reflects who she is and lives up to her reputation, one she and her team manage easily. They add as many recipes, articles and products as they want, without worrying that the site will crash.
First measurements on the test version of the new website, September 22, 2026, before optimization. Old website measured on September 18, 2026. Lighthouse 12, mobile simulation on slow 4G, median of three runs on the homepage.
[ Translated testimonial ]
“We used to juggle two websites. Now the recipes, the podcasts and the store are all in one place, and my team adds content without being afraid of breaking everything.”
